German engineering paired with the golden hands of famous frame builders that dominated the production of steel racing bikes in the second half of the 20th century. In this case, it is a bicycle that toured the world's most famous races in the late 80s of last century. Although the name Le Taureau refers to French roots, it is a German brand (owned by a well-known bicycle dealer in Bavaria - Radsport Stier) for which bicycles were produced by great masters such as the German Hugo Rickert or the French Mercier.

Don't be confused by the name Le Taureau. In accordance with the German word Stier (bull), the brand name is "coined" from the same word in French.

And now something about the bike itself. The frame is perfectly built with fine eyelets and strong Columbus tubes. Since the geometry of the frame is quite demanding, it was necessary to take a set of tubes with slightly thicker walls. Columbus Aelle tubes are made of cold-drawn "thin-walled" tubes made of microalloyed steel, which made the frame especially light due to the added rigidity of the tubes that were installed. The rear triangle of the bike is chrome-plated for extra durability, as is the fork which is additionally decorated with striking bull heads on the fork crowns themselves.
